Free Etsy review report builder: report an unfair or fake review

What it does

It reads the review the way a support agent would and looks for the things Etsy's review policy actually covers:

• Delivery complaints on digital downloads. "It never arrived in the mail" on an instant PDF can't be about your item or service.
• Reviews about Etsy or payments rather than your item.
• Personal information such as an email address or phone number.
• Demands, like "refund me or the review stays".
• Abusive language.

Then it writes a short, factual report and tells you the date to report it by (Etsy allows 100 days from the order's delivery).

When it's more than one review

Will Etsy remove the review if I use this?

Only if it breaks Etsy's rules — Etsy decides. Negative reviews that follow the rules stay up. This helps you pick the right reason and state the facts clearly.

What if none of the reasons apply?

Reply publicly to the review, calmly and factually. Future buyers read seller replies. If it's part of a run of suspicious reviews, include it in a support request about the pattern.
