Free proof-of-creation certificate for your photos (SHA-256 + camera date)
Get a dated certificate for an original photo: its SHA-256 fingerprint, the camera date stored in the file, and a public record of when the fingerprint was registered. Your photo never leaves your device.
Your photo's record
What the certificate proves
- The fingerprint (SHA-256) identifies this exact file. Any later edit changes it.
- The camera date (EXIF) is what your camera or phone wrote into the file. It's useful evidence but can be edited, so treat it as supporting detail.
- The registration date is when MakerSentry's server first recorded this fingerprint. Anyone can check it later with the verify box on this page — that's the part a copier can't backdate.
Your photo is fingerprinted in your browser; only the fingerprint and camera date are sent to us. Keep the original file safe: the certificate is only useful alongside it.

Questions
- Is this legally binding?
- It's evidence, not a legal registration. It shows the file existed by the registration date, which is what marketplaces usually ask about in disputes.
- What if someone registers my photo before me?
- They'd need your original file to produce the same fingerprint. A copy taken from a website is a different file with a different fingerprint.
