How to report a copy of your product on Temu
Step-by-step: where to report a Temu listing that uses your product photos, what to include, and what happens next. Free notice generator included.
If a Temu listing is using your product photo, the fastest route is Temu's own reporting process. Here's exactly where to go and what to include.
Where to report
Temu intellectual property complaint — If the page moves, find 'Intellectual Property Protection' in Temu's footer.
What to include
- The exact URL of the infringing Temu listing.
- Your original work — the URL of your own listing and the date it was published.
- Your original photo file, if the form allows attachments.
- Your contact details.
- A good-faith statement and an accuracy statement under penalty of perjury (see the DMCA notice guide).
You can generate a ready-to-paste notice with our free takedown notice generator.
Temu-specific tips
- Use Temu's intellectual property complaint form, linked from the site footer.
- Provide the exact product URL (including the goods ID) and your original listing URL.
- Temu often shows the same product under several listings — search for each.
Language
English is accepted. Chinese can help when the case reaches the merchant.
What happens next
Temu reviews complaints and may remove the listing. Re-check after a week and report relists.
Before you report: save evidence
Listings can disappear and reappear under new IDs. Before reporting, save the URL, a screenshot and an Internet Archive snapshot (web.archive.org → “Save Page Now”). See someone stole my product photos for the full checklist.
Platform processes change; follow the current instructions on Temu's own pages. General information, not legal advice. MakerSentry is not affiliated with Temu.
Keeps dated proof of every listing, finds copies weekly, tracks takedowns and builds your appeal if Etsy removes a listing.
