If a Etsy listing is using your product photo, the fastest route is Etsy's own reporting process. Here's exactly where to go and what to include.

## Where to report

**[Etsy IP infringement report](https://www.etsy.com/legal/ip/report)** — Etsy accepts reports from rights owners through its online form. Paste the notice into the description field.

## What to include

1. The **exact URL** of the infringing Etsy listing.
2. Your **original work** — the URL of your own listing and the date it was published.
3. Your **original photo file**, if the form allows attachments.
4. Your **contact details**.
5. A **good-faith statement** and an **accuracy statement under penalty of perjury** (see the [DMCA notice guide](/guides/how-to-file-a-dmca-takedown-notice)).

You can generate a ready-to-paste notice with our [free takedown notice generator](/tools/dmca-takedown-notice-generator?platform=etsy).

## Etsy-specific tips

- Report each infringing listing separately and include your own listing URL as the original work.
- If the copying shop also copied your listing text or shop branding, mention it, but lead with the photo.
- Keep your own listing unchanged while the report is reviewed.

## What happens next

Etsy reviews reports and may remove the listing and notify the seller. The seller can respond with a counter-notice. Re-check the URL after a week.

## Before you report: save evidence

Listings can disappear and reappear under new IDs. Before reporting, save the URL, a screenshot and an Internet Archive snapshot (web.archive.org → “Save Page Now”). See [someone stole my product photos](/guides/someone-stole-my-etsy-product-photos) for the full checklist.
