If a eBay listing is using your product photo, the fastest route is eBay's own reporting process. Here's exactly where to go and what to include.

## Where to report

**[eBay VeRO notice](https://www.ebay.com/sellercenter/ebay-for-business/verified-rights-owner-program)** — Non-members can email the Notice of Claimed Infringement to vero@ebay.com.

## What to include

1. The **exact URL** of the infringing eBay listing.
2. Your **original work** — the URL of your own listing and the date it was published.
3. Your **original photo file**, if the form allows attachments.
4. Your **contact details**.
5. A **good-faith statement** and an **accuracy statement under penalty of perjury** (see the [DMCA notice guide](/guides/how-to-file-a-dmca-takedown-notice)).

You can generate a ready-to-paste notice with our [free takedown notice generator](/tools/dmca-takedown-notice-generator?platform=ebay).

## eBay-specific tips

- Members of eBay's Verified Rights Owner (VeRO) program report through the program; others can email a Notice of Claimed Infringement.
- Include the item number for each listing.
- Report the seller's other listings if they reuse your photos.

## What happens next

eBay removes reported listings it confirms and notifies the seller, who may respond.

## Before you report: save evidence

Listings can disappear and reappear under new IDs. Before reporting, save the URL, a screenshot and an Internet Archive snapshot (web.archive.org → “Save Page Now”). See [someone stole my product photos](/guides/someone-stole-my-etsy-product-photos) for the full checklist.
