How to report a copy of your product on Amazon
Step-by-step: where to report a Amazon listing that uses your product photos, what to include, and what happens next. Free notice generator included.
If a Amazon listing is using your product photo, the fastest route is Amazon's own reporting process. Here's exactly where to go and what to include.
Where to report
Amazon Report Infringement form — Choose 'Copyright' → 'Product image'. Include the ASIN from the infringing URL.
What to include
- The exact URL of the infringing Amazon listing.
- Your original work — the URL of your own listing and the date it was published.
- Your original photo file, if the form allows attachments.
- Your contact details.
- A good-faith statement and an accuracy statement under penalty of perjury (see the DMCA notice guide).

Amazon-specific tips
- Choose “Copyright” and “Product image” on the Report Infringement form.
- Include the ASIN, found in the product URL after /dp/.
- If several sellers share one listing, the image belongs to the listing — report the ASIN, not each seller.
What happens next
Amazon may remove the image or the listing. Brand Registry offers more tools if you have a registered trademark.
Before you report: save evidence
Listings can disappear and reappear under new IDs. Before reporting, save the URL, a screenshot and an Internet Archive snapshot (web.archive.org → “Save Page Now”). See someone stole my product photos for the full checklist.
